What are the materials for 3D printers? 

SLA photosensitive resin.

These materials are classified as the following kinds of resin.

ABS-like photosensitive resin with high ductility, rubber-like flexible photosensitive resin, transparent photosensitive resin, and other photosensitive resin with special properties(high ductility, high-temperature resistance, lost-wax casting etc).

Properties of the materials: high precision, fast curing, low shrinkage, high strength, being uneasy to deform etc. Can absorb a wavelength of 280-365nm.

Fields: garage kits, consumer goods, medicare, display, education, and proof of concept for other professional markets, function test, and molds processing. 

FDM thermoplastic plastic

Unlike resin and powder, FDM thermoplastic plastic is well adaptable to different environments. so its whole shape and accuracy of work pieces seldom change as time goes by.

There are no complicated and messy operations in replacing FDM materials. 

Standard plastic: ABS, ABS-M30, ABS-M30i, ABS-ESD7, ASA, ABSi

Engineering plastic: PC, PC-ISO, PC-ABS.

High-performance plastic: ULTEM9085, ULTEM1010, PPSF/PPSU, ST-130.

Photosensitive resin

Filaments for desktop printers

Filaments mainly include ABS and PLA which are materials in roll with a diameter of 1.75mm, each single roll of 1kg. These two materials have more than 20 kinds of color for option, namely white, ivory, yellow, red, black, gray, green, orange etc. 

ABS: high strength, good ductility, easy-to-process thermoplastic polymer materials.

PLA:Being biodegradable, PLA has good biocompatibility, good gloss, transparency, heat resistance and gives a good feel.
